Stephen Dunsdon

Head Instructor

The school is run by Stephen Dunsdon our Chief Instructor who has many years of martial arts experience. Stephen is a first Degree Black belt and has trained under Master Paul Hawkes for over 12 years. Stephen has also had a chance to train with Masters from other schools and countries expanding his knowledge of Kung Fu. Still training under Master Paul Hawkes, he is keen to pass on his knowledge and experience to his students and instructors. Stephen is incredibly passionate about the school and works hard to instill confidence and get the best out of every single student.

Andrea Bates

Instructor

Andrea is one of our instructors in our Sunday classes and has been a member of the team since 2018. Andrea is incredibly hard working and builds a great rapport with the young students who love being cheeky to her. Rest assured though, Andrea can be equally as cheeky with the students and gives back as much as she gets! You will often see Andrea organising the grading certificates alongside Georgia during the graduation ceremonies. We like to think of Andrea as the organiser of the group and also the one that will always make us laugh. It is fantastic to have such a nurturing and fun member of the team.

Claire Bates

Instructor

Claire is one of our instructors in the Tuesday classes and has been a member of the team since 2018. Claire is a very engaging and helpful member of the team. Claire absolutely adores the children. In particular, Claire loves to hear all about the rewards and certificates the children bring into the class. With two children of her own who are students in the school, Claire has a unique perspective both as an instructor and parent. This is invaluable and means that we can take on board feedback which helps us consistently improve and maintain the high standards we are so proud of. We are very lucky to have Claire who is a kind hearted and nurturing member of the team.

Georgia Robinson

Instructor

Georgia is one of our instructors in the Monday classes and has been a member of the team since 2019. Georgia is the youngest member of the team and as such is full of fresh ideas. Bringing a different perspective of the classes through younger eyes and having more recently attended the younger classes herself. Georgia has worked hard to rise through the junior classes winning an award for Overall achievement in 2018, before being invited into the adult classes. It is great to see one of our younger adult students engage with the children and work so hard to see them achieve their goals. We are so grateful to have Georgia as a member of the team and love what a great role model she is to the students.

Jake Davis

Assistant Instructor

Jake has been a member of our school since he was a Junior Warrior back in October 2018. He quickly advanced through the Junior classes to become an assistant in our Saturday classes. Since then Jake has won the Overall achievement award in 2020 before advancing into the Adult classes where he is working his way through his student levels to become a black belt within the school. Jake is a caring member of our team and loves passing his knowledge onto our younger students.
