Tiny Tigers

Our Tiny Tigers classes are something really close to my heart. When I started thinking about how we could support the youngest children in our community, I wanted to create something that wasn’t just “mini martial arts” it had to be about the whole child.

At this age, movement is development. So rather than focusing on Kung Fu techniques, our Tiny Tigers sessions are built around the five fundamental movement patterns the human body uses bending, rotating, pushing, pulling and balancing. We bring these to life through fun activities that toddlers genuinely love, because let’s be honest, telling a two year old to “bend at the hips” doesn’t quite work but asking them to move like a bear? That’s a different story entirely.

The classes are designed to be enjoyed together, so parents and carers get involved too if they want to or just sit back and enjoy the fun their toddlers are having.  I think that makes a real difference at this stage of a child’s life.

Every child develops in their own time and in their own way and we fully embrace that. There’s no pressure, no racing ahead. We simply create a safe, fun space where little ones can explore movement, build confidence and start to feel comfortable in a class environment.

We also make sure the sessions gently mirror the structure of our older classes, so as your child grows and wants to take their training further, they’ll already feel right at home.

All of our instructors are fully trained and DBS checked, and our syllabus is something I review and update regularly to make sure it’s always giving your child the very best experience.
